Revelation 2:1-4
To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands: I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love.
It concluded the whole thing of why I brokedown last night; when everything went wrong and I chose to push the blame rather than to look to God and calm myself down. So much worries have been lingering in me that I was too blinded to remind myself why and for whom am I doing all this. I learnt my lesson; I allowed Him to pick me up and to mend my broken wings.
No more will I allow emotion to take hold of my being. No more will I allow jealousy, bitterness and anger to have a chance to grow within. They are hindering me to reach His glory, His holiness. I will learn from Paul who prayed three times to God to remove the thorns in his heart; and God said His grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. And as I continue running this race, I'll learn to fix my eyes on Jesus, who is the author and perfecter of our faith.
I'm so inept of expressing towards my dad attitude. Its like, I just threw temper to him yesterday and today he got my computer fixed. He never, not even a word, reprimand me for my rude behavior and my today's skipping school.
